Shawn Update

Shawn's surgery was successful. They were unable to go in where they had wanted to because of a tremendous amount of scar tissue. They had to go in through his abdomen which will make for a more painful and lengthy recovery. We are unsure at this time when he'll be leaving the hospital, but hopefully it will be soon!! Shawn is in good spirits, but he and Erin have had some tough moments the last 24 hours. They are ready to come home. They are scheduled to go on vacation this coming Friday, but that's on hold for now. Before they depart, Shawn will undergo lab work to see if he is cancer free. The results should be back within a week after that. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.
