Shawn Update from Erin Renee'
Hey Everyone,
We wanted to let you guys know that Shawn finally had chemo on Thursday (3/23) and Friday (3/24). His white blood count had gone up to 3500 from 300 in a week. We were very excited! Shawn had never been ready for chemo than on Thursday because he's ready to get it over with.
The real test is that he goes back to work tonight so pray that he will have the energy and strength to make it through the day. We are very lucky that J-Mall has been very flexible with Shawn's schedule and is allowing him to take one day at a time. Thank you for that.
We do have a new addition to our lives that brightens our day. We got her on Friday (3/24). Her name is Gracey. She is a beagle/poodle mix. We call her a Begoodle! We will send pictures soon. She is all black with white paws, white tipped tail, white belly and chest. She is only 8-9 weeks old and already weighs 9.4 pounds.

Great news!!! Your Dad had filled me in a little at school the other day. But he failed to mention his new grandpuppy! I'm sure he'll have pictures to show everyone.

Hey Guys eveything sounds like it is going good, I hope Shawn got to go to work, I am sure he was getting bored. I am very excited to hear that I am a Great Aunt now, diffently want to see pictures. Well take care of each other, talk to you soon, Love you all Pam, Carl an boys
